"WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT FATE"

In Psalms 139:1-4 the Bible says, "0 LORD, You have searched me and known me " {2}, "You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. " {3} "You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. " {4} "For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold. 0 LORD, You know it altogether. "

The Bible says that because God is all knowing (omniscient) He is aware of the whole spectrum of time on earth (2 Peter 3:8). God's knowledge of the future is based on what mankind freely chooses to do (Joshua 24:15). The Bible says that at any time man may choose either to do good or to do evil (Deuteronomy 30:11-20). This does not mean that God predetermined man to make either choice (Proverbs 1:24-33).

The Bible says that God has predetermined that the church will be the redeemed ones from the earth at the end of time (John 6:37-45; 17:2-9; Romans 8:28-33). In Ephesians 1:4-5, 11 the Bible says, "...just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should he holy and without blame before Him in love, " {5} "having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, "... {11} "in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will "

The Bible says that God determined beforehand that the church would exist on earth, that it would be the people of God, and that it would inherit the promises God offered for Ills people (Ephesians 3:8-12: 2 Thessalonians 13; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 1:1-2; 1 Peter 1:2,20). In 2 Peter 1:10 the Bible says, "Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble " There is the possibility of our refusing the invitation of God to be a part of the group (the church) He has predestined to salvation (Matthew 22:1-14). God would never override our freedom to choose by predetermining what we will do (Matthew 6:24; 1 Kings 18:21; John 15:16).

Therefore our "fate" is determined by what we choose to do or not to do not by what God predetermines we will do (Genesis 2:16-17: 3:1-6; Hebrews 11:24-25).
